Bed Bug Medic Instructions

If you have seen signs of bed bugs inside of your home or if anyone in your home is being bitten, you must treat your whole house, apartment, etc. You cannot treat only 1 or 2 rooms when using Bed Bug Medic to treat your home for bed bugs. This is a comprehensive process that requires 2 treatments minimum, one on the day you decide to spray, and the follow up treatment 7-10 days later. Please ensure that you are thoroughly following along with our step by step instructions to ensure you are treating your home properly and maximizing the effectiveness of our product.

Preparation: Our 32 oz bottle is pre-prepared for immediate use. If you've purchased our half-gallon or gallon size, please review the gallon pouring instructions before proceeding. Once this step is completed, you will have a 32 oz bottle of our solution ready for application. From this point onward, simply shake the bottle and apply the solution regularly throughout the entire treatment process.

Start By Removing The Bed Sheets And Washing Them

Begin by removing all bedding, including mattress pads, from your bed. Place bedding in the washing machine along with 1 oz of Bed Bug Medic per load, along with your regular detergent. Once bedding is done being washed, put it in the dryer for an hour or longer. You can also wash curtains, rugs, etc., with our product.

Treat Perimeter/Carpets

Spray all the baseboards and carpeting throughout your entire house or apartment.

Treat Furniture

Spray all furniture, tables, couches, beds, chairs, etc. Pull cushions off couches and spray down in the creases, flip furniture over, and spray underneath thoroughly. If cushions have a zipper, unzip and spray inside thoroughly. Avoid saturating surfaces. If sprayed on vinyl, leather, plastic, or freshly stained wood, wipe off excess with a dry cloth.

Treat Room & Storage Places

Open all dresser drawers and spray a fine mist on clothes, underneath drawers, underneath dressers, and nightstands. Spray a fine mist on clothing in closets, curtains, rugs, etc. Spray mattress, box springs, headboard, footboard, and underneath the bed. Remove the netting from the box spring and spray underneath thoroughly, along the edges, and plastic protective corners. Spray above all electrical outlets on the walls. Check behind picture frames and wipe them as well.

Treat Electronics

Bed bugs can also infest electronics such as VCRs, DVD players, gaming systems, and televisions. Do not spray the screen of your computer or television monitor. Instead, spray the product on a washcloth and wipe down the back and sides of electronics.

Spray All Vehicles

Please spray the seats and carpet of all vehicles. If the seats are leather, spray then wipe off.

Follow-Up Treatment

We recommend spraying everything upon initial treatment and repeating the process in 7-10 days. Continue spraying every 7 days until there are no signs of bed bugs, no one is being bitten, and no bed bugs are visible.

Post-Treatment Maintenance

After achieving a bed bug free home, consider implementing a preventative maintenance program by treating your home with our product every 30-45 days.
